Our upcoming meeting on Tuesday October 1st at scope in Warren

Rob Dunham KE8OKO Mesh Networking. Rob Dunham will show the latest in mesh amateur radio computer networks with self-configuring software that actively assign its channels and is capable of actively routing paths in the mesh nodes to choose the least latency, avoid slow data paths. Unlike the older router software used on WiFi Routers, this software requires less setup by the Amateur Radio Operators to establish the mesh links. Rob has multiple examples of the equipment and inexpensive antennas and will do a live demonstration of the operating network. This next generation mesh networking software runs on professional hardware, not hobby equipment, yet still has a reasonable cost of entry. Rob has a career working out solutions on a daily basis as an IT Professional, he holds a General Class License and has been an Amateur Radio Operator since 2020. Rob is from Poland, Ohio, and is a Member of Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association.
